The bed here was exceptionally comfortable. The breakfast was tasty, there was plenty of food to chose from.

This accommodation had a central setting in the center of old town. Moreover, it was not far from the centre, Lenham and the restaurant. Our guest room was equipped with central heating, an iron/ironing board, tea and coffee making equipment.

We had to leave very early & the lady gave us some sandwiches to take with us because we missed breakfast. The same lady made us very welcome even offering to carry our bags.
Could not easily find the car park

I had my 60th birthday here. The staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful. The food was delicious and the room was excellent with every sort of extra you could want. This is the second time staying here and would definitely recommend the hotel. A great experience. And they are dog friendly, a great plus to us.

The staff were excellent and the location was super.
Bathrooms were just a little bit dated.

Excellent Staff, Quiet location, good food
the route to my room was a bit of a maze and resulted in a few wrong turns! My room was next to the boiler room so that sounded a bit wheezy, but not enough to disturb my sleep. Some of the channels on the tv had no signal or poor signal at peak times. Internet access was broken the week of my stay. The Magners cider was rather expensive. Please note the forgoing are only minor niggles and I will not stop me booking again

The Dog in Lenham had some cracking vegan dishes that really caught my taste buds-those lentil burgers were the talk of the table! Plus, the comfy vibe and dog-friendly setup were just lush! And let's not forget about the scrumptious breakfast that gave us a hearty start.
And that ancient hairdryer? If I'd relied on it, I'd still be there drying! Not really faults, just character.

The combination of the medieval setting in Lenham and the more or less central position in Kent, making it possible to visit a lot of castles, gardens, towns including London.
The noisy neighbors... It looks like the walls are made of paper? We had an extremely noisy couple in the adjacent room, obviously totally wasted.

The staff were lovely and helpful, and the room was lovely.
I would warn against the sweet waffles at breakfast - they were out of a packet. But the rest of breakfast (eggs / bacon) was lovely so I suspect other choices would have been better.

charming stay near interesting landmarks and cozy cafes
The hotel is just a few steps from st mary's church and the square fish cafe, making it so convenient to enjoy both historical sights and tasty local eats as a single traveler in a twin room.

The bedrooms were a good size, spotless and very well presented. The bed was very comfortable and the bedding good quality. Lots of fluffy towels in the bathroom and plentiful hot water. I could not fault the room.
The restaurant is pretty dire. The staff are pleasant and helpful but the food is poor quality. We were hoping for a relaxing dinner in a nice country pub but on the Friday night we dined there there was a guy with an over-loud microphone providing "entertainment".

A very nice traditional English pub and hotel in the countryside.
